After using the provided boot disk to test the system, I removed the 3 drives I had in my failed Mac Pro, slid them into 3 of the slots in the purchased Mac Pro (removing the provided boot drive) and booted up again, and I was fully back in business! All programs and peripherals seem to work fine, and my backup service thinks I'm on the same computer as always. Despite that, the insides appear clean, but not impeccably so.
